Clean drinking and service water through filter replacement

In general, filters are designed to clean drinking and service water systems. A filter protects all water pipes and connected components that carry water from corrosion damage caused by particles such as metal shavings, rust, sand, and more.

Here’s how a filter works: Water enters the filter through the raw water inlet and flows from the inside out through the filter element to the clean water outlet. During this process, all the above-mentioned foreign particles are deposited on the inner surface of the filter. For this reason, the filter and its elements must be cleaned by backwashing.

In addition to standard filters, there are also backwashable filters and models where the filter cartridge should be replaced annually. Dirt and bacteria can develop in drinking water if the filter is not serviced regularly.

How often should a filter be replaced?

We therefore recommend replacing the filter once a year.
